Taylor Swift just surprised these New York newlyweds on their big day with a sparkling gift.
It’s safe to say this couple’s end game ceremony was extra bubbly.
Sip, sip hooray! Taylor Swift’s string of fan surprises has continued with an adorable wedding gift for one lucky couple. Edward and Margaret McNoble got hitched in New York on Saturday, March 17th and received one heck of a surprise from Taylor. The staff at The Carltun at Eisenhower Power in East Meadow, New York informed the newlyweds that a bottle of champagne was waiting for them from a very special person. Attached to the fancy bottle of bubbly was a handwritten note from Taylor Swift herself.
Margaret shared a photo of the note online reading, “Rumor has it you might be using my song in your wedding celebration which makes me so happy! Here’s to this amazing day of your continuing love story. Love, Taylor”. Of course, Taylor didn’t need to include her last name for the couple to understand how major this gesture was.
The new bride gushed to US Weekly QUOTE, “It was awesome. It was such a great day. With all the moving parts, this was a great surprise! To get a bottle of Dom is a very nice gift, and then to see it’s from Taylor Swift is an even better gift!” Sounds like this was the perfect thing to make their day sparkle.
And Taylor’s speculation was right- the couple walked in to her song “Welcome to New York” and then shared their first dance to Taylor’s “Love Story”. Rumor has it Taylor would have tried to make it to the wedding if she wasn’t in LA at the time. This gift comes after Taylor surprised another couple back in January with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers at their ceremony. You’ll also remember Taylor famously showed up to a 2016 celebration in New Jersey and performed “Blank Space”.
