Taylor Swift celebrates her 10-year milestone with a sweet throwback photo.
Before she had four Number 1 albums and won seven Grammys, it was just Taylor and a few teardrops on her guitar.
October 24th 2006. That was the day Taylor dropped her FIRST album and also the day we all asked our parents to go out and buy US our very own guitar.
To celebrate the occasion, Taylor posted THE CUTEST pic on Instagram yesterday. 16-year old Taylor was wearing cuffed jeans and a Victoria’s Secret hoodie, sitting on an amp with a guitar in her hands. It seems like just yesterday we were introduced to that young, curly-haired Nashville singer.
Taylor spoke directly to fans, with the caption, “10 years ago today, my first album came out. I couldn’t be more grateful today, thinking back on how much fun we’ve had and how you’ve encouraged me to change and grow. It’s been such an adventure guys. Thank you for all of it.”
AMAZING. It has been such an adventure for us Swifties. Little did Taylor know in that moment, she would become one of the best-selling artists of all time. Her self-titled debut album, featured songs written in her freshman year of high school. As if we could forget a few of these classics.
Okay, now you know what I will be playing on repeat all day. Taylor’s first album still currently holds 18th place on Billboards Greatest 200 Albums of All Time.
