Taylor Swift brings a Christmas miracle to her oldest fan with a surprise concert at his home.
It wouldn’t be the Holidays without a little Swiftmas cheer.
Taylor Swift just made a World World II vet’s wildest dreams come true. The day after Christmas, Taylor and her parents surprised 96-year-old super fan Cyrus Porter at his house in Missouri with a private concert.
No, you’re not the only one tearing up over that adorable moment! As you saw Taylor performed an acoustic version of her 1989 hit “Shake It Off”. The singer then spent time mingling with Cyrus’ relatives and even got a tour of his World War II memorabilia.
Family member Caroline Fowler revealed to E! News about the intimate experience QUOTE, “He was grinning from ear to ear and even had tears in his eyes. The first thing he said to her was ‘How did you get here?’ He loved every moment. He told her how he was proud of his family, his country and Taylor Swift!”
The World War II vet is one of TayTay’s biggest fans and has attended multiple concerts even driving hundreds of miles to the show. Cyrus is currently battling cancer but says that won’t stop him from attending Taylor’s next tour. Many family members weren’t sure who arranged the special treat but Cyrus recently expressed his love for Taylor in a local news interview that went viral, which likely grabbed Taylor’s attention.
