Taylor Swift SURPRISES Fan Battling Cancer With Meet-and-Greet

21-year-old Lexi Caviston is a huge Swiftie who is sadly battling brain cancer, but thankfully Taylor was able to give her a wonderful and well-deserved gift this past weekend by inviting Lexi to a private meet-and-greet.
Lexi’s dreams of meeting Taylor became a reality after her best friend, Alexandra, tweeted out a social media campaign with the hashtag #LexiStrong. Alexandra wrote QUOTE, “My best friend Lexi was diagnosed with brain cancer in December. We’re going to the #ReputationStadiumTour on July 14th in Philly and it’s her dream to meet @taylorswift.”
That tweet caught the attention of Meghan McCain, whose father Senator John McCain is also battling the same kind of brain cancer as Lexi. Megan used her platform to boost Lexi’s chances of meeting Taylor, by tweeting directly at Taylor QUOTE, “Hey @taylorswift13 - we have never met, but anyway you can meet Lexi at your concert in Philly? She is fighting the same #glioblastoma cancer my father has and this would make both of our days! xo - Meghan McCain”
Meghan’s tweet then caught the attention of The View, and thus the plan for Lexi to meet Taylor was officially set in motion. And as you can tell from the sweet picture of the two, the meeting was beyond special for both Lexi and Taylor.
This, of course, isn’t the first time Taylor has surprised a fan in a major way. Back in March, Taylor visited a burn victim in the hospital after finding out that the young victim was unable to attend Taylor’s concert due to her injuries. And last year, Tay helped a 28-year-old pregnant fan buy a home and get all the things she needed to welcome her baby girl into the world.
Taylor is by far one of the most charitable and generous celebs out there, which is exactly the kind of reputation we like to see.
