Taylor Swift covers Cosmo magazine and is talking single life, feminism, the holidays, and loving her newfound independence. First off, let me kick today off by wishing all of you a Happy Halloween straight from me – Sporty Spice. If you wanna be my lovah you gotta get with my friends and right now my friend is Taylor Swift so get with it. Taylor is the cover girl for British Cosmopolitan’s December issue and looks absolutely fantastic. Not that she ever doesn’t look anything short of a supermodel, I mean have you seen pictures of this girl exiting the gym? It’s not fair.
When speaking on her single status, Taylor says QUOTE- “People will say, let me set you up with someone, and I'm just sitting there saying, ‘That's not what I'm doing. I'm not lonely; I'm not looking.'...They just don't get it. I've learnt that just because someone is cute and wants to date you, that's not a reason to sacrifice your independence and allow everyone to say whatever they want about you. I'm not doing that anymore."
Taylor also opened up about conversations she often has with her girlfriends about the double standard for men and women in society in regard to serial dating. Taylor says they often ask “Why is it mischievous, fun and sexy if a guy has a string of lovers that he's cast aside; loved and left? Yet if a woman dates three or four people in an eight-year period she is a serial dater and it gives some 12-year-old the idea to call her a ‘slut' on the internet?” Taylor added, “It'd take someone really special for me to undergo the circumstances I have to go through to experience a date. Life can be romantic without having a romance.”
Setting the record straight Taylor says, “I'm really happy about the fact that being single doesn't feel like being alone. I have love in my life, I just don't have a relationship, and that feels really natural right now."
For the winter issue, Taylor rocks a shimmering purple gown complete with a sweetheart neckline along with a sexy, red fringe dress, with nude cut out accents, and a sequined mesh gown that could give Elsa a run for her money. Forever glamorous.
