Troye Sivan goes platinum blonde and pays it forward to a fan in a remarkable way.
An act of kindness would be an understatement for what Troye Sivan just did for his fan.
After coming across tweets of Dean Eastmond, a fan in need of raising money for alternative treatment of his very aggressive cancer, Ewing’s Sarcoma, Troye immediately got in touch and offered to cover the entire cost of the treatment.
Initially, Dean was trying to start a GoFundMe page, but received some backlash for crowd funding money, after doing the same during his first unsuccessful round of treatment. When stressing about what to do, Troye took to notice and came to the rescue.
Dean opened up about how he’s actually known Troye for a few years, saying QUOTE “ We used to chat a little bit online in the past and mutually followed each other since, but nothing particularly more. (Apart from me obviously fancying him way too much as a young gay guy coming out circa 2013 and being a supporter of his music.)” Dean also mentioned he would love to the singer him a drink to thank him.
But Troye isn’t just changing lives. Just yesterday, he changed up his look too. In the past, the Aussie has teased the idea of switching up his hair, but just yesterday that tease became a reality, as Troye went from brunette to platinum blonde… and we have to say it definitely works for him.
