The ‘YOUTH’ have spoken… well, more like stayed completely still, but Troye managed to up his Mannequin game by, like, a few thousand.
Troye Sivan may be a newbie to the music industry, but boy is a total PRO when it comes to weird viral internet challenges. And what a way to kick off his very first U.S. headlining arena show than by getting the entire audience involved in the Mannequin Challenge?!
Troye took to Instagram to share videos of the challenge during his show in Boston last weekend, starting off strong with him and his bandmates, who perfectly paused as if they were in mid-performance.
But the real shocker came when the camera panned to the entire arena completely frozen in their tracks just before thousands of fans broke out into a successful applause…
Uhmm, do they always do it this big in Boston?! But the Mannequin Challenge wasn’t the only trick up Troye’s sleeve. Later on in the show, the entire crowd turned themselves into a giant colorful Pride flag to continue his celebration LGBTQ pride throughout the week.
A challenge, some pride AND a show?!
