Gabungan Pelajar Melayu Semenanjung (GPMS) President Zamri Mohd says that the use of UMNO flags at the Sekolah Kebangsaan Presint 14 (1) in Putrajaya yesterday could have been a part of history lessons.
He said that UMNO's role in fighting for the independence of Malaysia cannot be denied and that the UMNO song could have been use dto teach students about the party.
Yesterday morning the school hosted an award ceremony for a class decorating competition organised by the Federal Territories Ministry in conjunction with Merdeka Month titled "UMNO and Independence".
