Berjaya Group founder Vincent Tan has issued a letter of demand to Kedah caretaker menteri besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, demanding a public apology and for him to pay RM200 million in compensation.
This is over Sanusi’s claim of impropriety between the tycoon and Selangor caretaker menteri besar Amirudin Shari over the Klang River cleaning project.
Tan’s lawyers asserted that Sanusi’s claims are “plainly false, untrue, unwarranted, unsubstantiated, malicious, and mischievous statements against our client”.
