Katherine Langford who plays Hannah Baker in 13 reasons why, along with cast mate Dylan Minnette who plays the adorable Clay Jensen made an appearance earlier this month on Young Hollywood. Katherine was asked who her favorite band was in highschool and she answered with her favorite singer Lady Gaga and preceded to sing a snippet from Bad Romance.
Um, seriously though how cute is she? But much to Katherine’s surprise Lady Gaga actually tweeted out that same clip on her twitter as well as her name Katherine with a heart emoji. When Lady Gaga tweets you you know you have made it! Here’s Katherine’s response
Not only was that big news but thanks to Selena Gomez we now have Katherine on instagram! At first Katherine wasn’t too keen on the idea of opening up her instagram to the public. She said quote, “"It was a bit of a big decision for me actually, because I wanted to be an actor purely for the acting work, "I have never been attracted to increasing my popularity or hireability by being on Instagram." We totally hear you girl, but Selena made mention to Katherine that because of the show, it is a good way to open up with and connect with the fans who are responding to 13 reasons why. Katherine’s first official public instagram post reads, “"Ladies and jellyfish - WE ARE PUBLIC! After much consideration as to whether or not to keep private - I've chosen to open up this account so I can connect with all of you! Thank you to all the kind beauties who have been following from the beginning, and to @selenagomez for the push."
