Maybe it’s because he was put on the spot or maybe it’s because 3 successful HSM movies and a gazillion songs are hard to keep track of, but Zac’s latest interview left us all in complete shock…
High school musical hearts shattered across the globe following Zac Efron’s latest interview with Cosmo UK, to promote his new movie We Are Your Friends. He and costar Emily Ratajkowski, along with the movie’s director, Catfish creator Max Joseph, were challenged to a little game which consisted of identifying some of the most popular songs. Some of which including Beyonce’s “Drunk in Love” and the Macarena were easier to come by, buuuuut when it was time to ID “Breaking Free,” Zac had a litttttle trouble. Take a look:
Ok, ok, in his defense, Zac knew the song was from the popular Disney Channel trilogy, but the REAL tragedy here is when Zac had NO idea who sang “Steal My Girl” by literally the biggest boy band in the world right now, and Directioner hearts shattered more than the band’s on a break” news…
But it’s ok because he DID say he liked the song, AND thanks to Zac, we had years of catchy tunes and dance moves to sing along to and they will be forever embedded in our minds because we’re all in this together guys!
