Zendaya Calls Out Discrimination After Being Rejected Buying Gift Cards

Zendaya isn’t one to keep quiet when it comes to injustices in the world, so after feeling like a victim of racism, she decided to let it all out on Snapchat.
What was supposed to be a simple gift card purchase at Vons turned into a really messy affair – and it was all because a store clerk reportedly refused to help check Zendaya out when she tried to buy 400 dollars in gift cards.
In her snapchat story, Z claimed that the woman who she interacted with at the register didn’t really want to help her or her friend out because of their skin tone. The actress reported that after she asked to purchase the gift cards, the clerk told Z that she couldn’t afford them and then proceeded to toss her wallet aside.
How rude! In the end though, a manager helped the actress complete her purchase and while Z was irritated by what went down in the store, she eventually ended her mini rant with some nice words for the woman who allegedly discriminated against her.
Leave it to Z to keep it classy!
