Zendaya continues to take the world by storm as she sits down with Ellen to discuss her new movie role, but most importantly, her real-life role of being an all-around positive influence.
A new single, a Cover Girl contract, a new movie role in the works and a powerful voice to be reckoned with… really though, is there anything Zendaya can’t do?!
Zendaya sat down for her chat with Ellen today to dish all the scoop on her upcoming projects including her recent collab with Cover Girl and her new movie role in the new Spiderman reboot to which she wasn’t able to disclose any information just yet.
But although Z is no stranger to the limelight, she did reveal that she’s technically still a newbie in the film world saying QUOTE, “When it comes to the acting space, I’m basically unknown. I’ve never been in a real movie before, so I had to start from the bottom like anyone else. I auditioned and auditioned and broke down those walls because a lot of people have that pre-conceived notion of who I am based off previous things I’ve done, so you got to really break that down and go hard, put in the work, take all the meetings, take all the auditions.”
And now that Zendaya is breaking into the acting space and with all the fame that’s come her way, Ellen asked how she maintains such a positive image, to which the Disney star revealed that being a positive role model is her main goal, first and foremost. Take a look:
But just because Zendaya is making waves and breaking into the acting space doesn’t mean she’s breaking out of her parent’s living space any time soon. As a newly-19-year-old still living at home, she gave her parents credit for keeping her grounded and appreciateive, annnnd even dished on all the perks that come with rooming with her parents, and I think we can all relate on this subject…
