伊党波各先那国会议员玛夫兹指出，国大党主席苏巴马廉透露国阵对哈迪动议“只提呈，不辩论不投票”的共识，显示议长并非行使其权力以展延这项动议。
不过他认为动议的服役者，即哥打峇鲁国会议员达基尤丁应起身向议长抗议，并要求辩论以尽快处理动议。
政府在周四（6日）放行，让哈迪阿旺提呈动议，以修改《伊斯兰法庭355法令》，但国会议长班迪卡在哈迪提呈动议后宣布，动议留待下次会期辩论。
