早前盛传将代表行动党上阵乌拉港补选的前主播陈韵传，据探悉，因基层反弹太大将改由梳邦再也市议员王诗棋出征。
王诗棋从大学时期开始接触学运，而后成为一名补习老师。
她在2009年拍摄了一部以赵明福命案为题的纪录片《Jatuh》，于2013年成为欧阳捍华的政治秘书，更在2014年加入行动党。
王诗琪认为不论由谁上阵，行动党对无拉港是充满信心的。
