13RW's Dylan Minnette Hints Clay Might Have NEW Love Interest In Season 2

Dylan Minnette spills the details on 13 reasons why season 2, and it sounds like Clay might have a new love interest!!
Season 2 better hurry up and drop on Netflix already, especially after hearing everything Dylan has to say about it…
Dylan was interviewed--or should I say GRILLED--by Seventeen magazine, and they asked him all kinds of questions about season 2. While so many details are being kept under wraps ahead of the show coming back, there are a few things that have already been confirmed. A number of new cast members have been added to the show, the season will start a couple months after season 1 left off, and Hannah Baker’s story will still be the center of the series. But thanks to Dylan, we’ve now got a little more insight as to what to expect from the next chapter of 13 Reasons Why.
One thing we should NOT expect from the second season, is to see a lot more Clay and Hannah scenes via flashbacks. Dylan explained QUOTE, “We potentially could see more flashbacks with Clay and Hannah, but what I will say is that I think we learn pretty much almost everything we needed to know about what Clay and Hannah’s relationship was [in season one]. I think that’s pretty clear."
Considering our hearts are broken that those two didn’t find a happy ending, perhaps it’s better that we aren’t reminded what could have been, because that’s just too painful. As for a new love interest for Clay, however, Dylan did hint that Clay’s childhood friend Skye, who you’ll recall he reconnected with and had a bit of a flirtation with season 1, is still definitely in the picture. He revealed QUOTE, “I can’t say too much, but Skye is still around and in the picture and there’s a chance that her and Clay could be friends or more...That’s something you’ll learn pretty quickly when the season starts. I don’t want to spoil that for you, but she’s around.”
I’ll be down for Clay to be with anyone, as long as they make him happy because he deserves it.
As for Hannah Baker’s story in the new season, Dylan said QUOTE, “It would have been weird to end Hannah’s story in season one because we only heard very small tidbits of her life told by her...There’s a whole life that Hannah had, and there’s more we can learn about her. Overall, learning more about her is more important to the entire narrative.”
Okay so that definitely sounds like we’re going to see what Hannah was like in her life from the perspective of the other characters through flashbacks, which definitely sounds interesting...
