Adele Apologizes To Injured Fan & Is She Taking A 5 Year Break?!

After a chain reportedly fell on an audience member during her show, Adele and her team are doing everything in their power to make sure that it doesn’t happen again.
So, here’s what went down during Adele’s performance at the SSE Hydro on Friday night. Apparently during her show, a chain from a production rig above the audience somehow unhooked and fell onto a woman. According to Stuart Duffy, a journalist who attended the concert, the lights immediately turned on after that happened and audience members were removed from the area in case anything else were to happen.
As far as we all know, the injured woman is doing a-okay, but she was still taken to the hospital as a precaution. A spokesperson for the venue explained QUOTE, “The lady was attended to by our own medical team and then taken to hospital as a precaution. The safety of every member of our audience is paramount and we are currently working with the promoter’s production team to establish why this happened and to ensure it does not happen again.”
Shortly after the incident, Adele tweeted an apology to her injured fan and wrote, “I’m so sorry to hear that someone got hurt at my show tonight. It’s being investigated to ensure it won’t happen again. X”
In other Adele news, at her concert in London a few nights before the chain incident, the singer went on a pretty long rant about people who pressure women to breastfeed their children. Adele’s feelings regarding that topic was pretty clear.
The singer continued her rant by sticking up for women who don’t breastfeed by saying, “Some of us can’t do it. I managed about nine weeks with my boobs. I mean, I loved [using formula]. All I wanted to do was breastfeed and then I couldn’t and then I felt like, ‘If I was in the jungle now back in the day, my kid would be dead because my milk’s gone.” Dang, Adele. Just tell it like it is.
While the queen of all comebacks seems like she’s enjoying her time back on the stage and being around her fans, a source close to Adele told The Sun that QUOTE, ‘She [Adele] has told her closest pals she will step away from the limelight for five years before she brings out an album. She’s still very new to motherhood and doesn’t want to miss out on Angelo growing up. It will be a hard thing for fans to hear.”
Let it be known that Adele hasn’t confirmed or denied this piece of information, but to be on the safe side, I think we should all soak in as much Adele as we can because five years is a really long time without the queen.
