Will someone please get this girl some bug spray?! Or maybe even a drink at this point?!
Adele may have played for audiences in the tens of thousands, but it only took ONE who apparently couldn’t stop clinging to the singer all while performing an entire song. Fans captured Adele hitting the floor while going into a massive freak-out (as would we all) after shoo-ing away a tiny beetle that crawled in her shoe, and in true Adele fashion, the entire 60 seconds is filled with enough swearing to fill an entire stadium…
As she may have finally remembered that she was, in fact, onstage in front of thousands of fans, she exclaimed, “I'm just not cut out for it, f**king hell” while lying face down on the stage laughing. She also made a joke about the famous band The Beatles, saying, “I wanted to say to you The Beatles were gone and I thought I bet they got swept up in my dress!”
But the show must go on, and after barely remembering to put her shoe back on, Adele prevailed! But the same show was not all fun and games… following the tragic terrorist attacks that occurred in Adele’s hometown of London yesterday, she later dedicated her tear-jerking hit “Make You Feel My Love” to the victims and their families.
Before performing, Adele stated, “Today there was a terror attack in my home town of London. I feel very far away and very strange not being at home. All I want to do today is just be at home and be with my friends and family. Everyone I know is fine, but there are four people that aren’t fine. So let’s dedicate this to them tonight and to my hometown which is my soulmate.”
It’s no question Adele put on quite the show in Auckland, in more ways than one, but right now I want to hear all your thoughts on her horrific beetle attack, and about her sweet dedication to the victims in London, so get to talking right down here in the comments, and after that you can click right over here to check out another epic Adele concert moment where she impersonates her idol Beyonce.
