One critic had some not so nice things to say about Adele’s incredible voice and the singer responded to their harsh words in the best way possible.
Adele is one of the greatest vocalists of our generation and everyone knows it. So when one producer questioned if she was really singing on her album, well, Adele let really let him have it in the middle of her concert.
It all started last week when Tony Visconti, a 72-year-old producer who has worked with some of the greatest performers like the late David Bowie, questioned the realness of Adele’s voice on her latest record. Tony talked to The Daily Star, a British Tabloid, and was quoted saying, “You turn the radio on and it’s fluff, you are listening to 90 percent computerized voices. We know Adele has a great voice, but it’s even questionable if that is actually her voice or how much has been manipulated. We don’t know.”
Um, Tony, have you HEARD Adele live? Because she sounds incredible AND pretty much the same, if not better than she does on her albums, but that’s just my opinion. Well, after Tony gave that comment, the singer caught wind of it and fired back at a recent concert. In the middle of the show, Adele took time to chat with the audience and she expressed her annoyance with his opinion by saying this.
