Adele Tells Ellen She Cried From Embarrassment After The Grammys

After having some sound issues on Monday, Adele admitted to Ellen that she was completely embarrassed by her Grammy performance and cried about it all day after the show. Adele has a golden voice. Everyone knows that. We also know that she’s human and can’t be perfect ALL the time. She opened up to Ellen about what went down.
If you watched the Grammy’s on Monday, you saw Adele take the stage to perform “All I Ask” and honestly, most people probably didn’t even pick up on Adele being anything less than amazing but if you were listening closely, you may have noticed some sound issues which then affected her vocal performance. Adele sat down with Ellen following the performance to give the low down on what happened. Check it out:
Hey, it’s live television. Anything that can go wrong, WILL go wrong according to Murphy’s Law and she still held it together in my opinion. She went on to say that had it not been live television, she would have just made a joke and asked if she could start again, but she didn’t want to stop the show. Adele joked that if it ever happens again, she’s just going to start over and if the show doesn’t have time, then tough luck. PS, she sang the same song while on Ellen and killed it so bam.
Aside from explaining what went down at the Grammys, Adele also did Ellen the best favor of all favors by leaving the most amazing voicemail greeting on Ellen’s phone.
And as if that wasn’t already goals enough, she sang it to.
Voicemail GOALS. It doesn’t get better than that.
