Adele Knows She Has A Hit Song When She Does What? Thought She'd Be Forever Single After "21" Album

She may seem sweet and loving on the inside, but believe it or not, Adele’s main goal when writing songs is to make us all weep uncontrollably, but we’re totally ok with that.
In an interview with The New York Times, Adele revealed that she, too, gets teary-eyed at the sound of some of her best work. She said, QUOTE, “I know that I’ve written a good song for myself…when I start crying. It’s when I just break out in tears in the vocal booth…”
So to put it in simple terms, the more tears Adele makes you shed (and now herself included), the bigger the hit. However, Adele has recently promised that her newest album 25 will not be a heartbreak album, like her previous 21 album was. In fact, she also admitted that she never wants to go down the same path again, saying “How I felt when I wrote 21, I wouldn’t want to feel again. I was miserable. I was lonely…I thought I was going to be single for the rest of my life.”
Ah yes, the familiar “forever alone” assumption we’ve ALL thought to ourselves at one point or another, but luckily Adele has since proven that statement so false after being in a much better place in her life, accompanied by her boyfriend of over 4 years, Simon Konecki and their 3-year-old son Angelo.
So as for what we can expect on her upcoming 25 album, producer Ryan Tedder, who frequently works with Adele, gave some interesting insight and said, “You’re lucky if at one point in your life you stumble across a unicorn…the odds that you find a second unicorn are extremely remote…”
