Beyoncé and Jay-Z just released a surprise album over the weekend, and to say fans are reacting would be a HUGE understatement.
OMG, you guys, we’re FREAKING OUT!
Over the weekend, Beyoncé and Jay-Z broke the Internet when they dropped their surprise collaborative album “Everything is Love.”
If you haven’t yet had a chance to listen, the album was released exclusively on Tidal this past Saturday and includes nine brand new songs. Along with the album, the couple released an awe-inspiring visual, which was filmed in The Louvre, to go along with their song, “Apeshit.”
Of course, it didn’t take long for #EverythingIsLove to become one of the top trends on Twitter over the weekend, and still, people can’t stop buzzing about the surprise release, especially since it was so unexpected. QUOTE, “you take ONE single solitary midday nap and Beyoncé drops an album,” one fan tweeted. OMG… too real!
Another fan hilariously wrote, QUOTE, “the louvre is officially called the louvré now because of Beyoncé, that’s the rules,” with another person adding, QUOTE, “Beyonce just Beyonced us again.” SO TRUE!
Some fans even canceled their plans solely to listen to the new release. One person wrote, QUOTE, “Hi, if we had plans this weekend they’re canceled! I’m listening to new Beyoncé music.” Other fans clearly had the same thought process, writing, QUOTE, “I love when beyonce drops new music because that means I can cancel all my plans.”
Although the album became available to stream on Spotify and Apple Music this morning, some fans hopped on Tidal because they just couldn’t wait to hear all nine tracks. One fan wrote, QUOTE, “Paying a monthly fee to Tidal for @beyonce honestly just feels right at this point.” Trust us… we get it.
It wasn’t just regular fans who were freaking out, though. It was celebrities, too! Lauren Jauregui took to Twitter after the album’s release to say, QUOTE, “BEYONCE AND JAY ARE MY PARENTS,” and Diddy even shared Beyoncé’s tweet about the album and captioned it with the fire emojis. We told you people are stoked!
