It’s Friday which means we get tons of new music, including albums from Sabrina Carpenter, Iggy Azalea, Peppa Pig, and of course, Queen B

What’s up guys, happy Friday, it’s Emile Ennis Jr here with Clevver News and if you haven’t seen the movie yet, I’m begging you to at least check out Beyonce’s companion album.

“The Lion King: The Gift” features 27 glorious tracks all produced and curated by Beyoncé herself.
And you might notice that the album is missing some key Lion King songs like Circle of Life and I Just Can’t Wait to Be King
That’s because this is just an album INSPIRED by The Lion King, not the official soundtrack.

Beyonce has said that it’s a “Love letter to Africa”
“The Gift” features songs by Beyonce, Jay Z, Donald Glover AKA Childish Gambino, and Pharrell Williams.
And there’s even a little feature by Blue Ivy on the song “Brown Skin Girl”
But the gifts keep on coming – Beyonce gave us the music video for her song “Spirit” a few days ago.
It was shot at the sacred Havasu Falls on the Havasupai Indian Reservation in the Grand Canyon.
Beyonce reached out to the Havasupai Tribe, who happily gave her their blessings to shoot the music video there.
They said, “Knowing that Beyonce advocates for the preservation of water rights around the world, we were particularly pleased to be able to accommodate her request”
The official soundtrack is also out, so basically you have a ton of new music to listen to. But anyway, I want to hear from you guys.
Have you guys heard the album yet? What’s your favorite song? I think mine’s gotta be Mood 4 Eva. Let me know yours in the comments below.
