Get excited because we’re learning that we can expect some new music from Shawn Mendes in JUST OVER a month.
Shawn has graced the world with a teaser for his new song titled Better, and I’m thinking it’s about to be Stiches 2.0.
Although it’s still a month away and that KIND OF seems like forever from now, Shawn took the Billboard Music Awards as an opportunity to promote his new jam Better with this little teaser clip:
He’s been dropping hints about some new music forever now, so it’s nice to finally hear something and have a date that we can expect it to look forward to.
The teaser aired during a commercial break and the promo opened with some simple guitar strumming before he started to sing “I won’t lie to you/ I know he’s just not right for you.” The rest of what we got was Shawn trying to convince all of us how much better he is than some other chicks pant load of a boyfriend… Andddd now that I’m thinking about it, and visualizing his recent Seventeen magazine cover I’m thinking yup, he’s for sure better than whatever guys he’s referencing.
