Over Labor Day weekend, Ariana took to Twitter to inform her fans that she was extremely sick. On September 5 she tweeted “sick sick sick. everything hurts. :( resting / tryna get better for tomorrow. love u my babes.”
Unfortunately, Ariana didn’t get better in time and had to cancel her show. She sent out a tweet the next day saying “Sacramento I’m so so so so sorry that I’m unable to perform for you tonight. I’m just too sick. :( I never want to disappoint you. Rescheduling the show for Thursday and I really hope I can make it up to you then….. & I love you so so much.”
On September 7, Ariana gave her fans some good news. She tweeted “despite being horribly sick my chords are pretty & perfectly healthy! no idea how but damn I'm thanking the heavens!! thank u lordtt!”
She also went on to say, “my doctor looked at my vocal chords today after a week of coughing and months straight of singing and called me a "bullet proof bitch". “
