Ariana Grande Dragged For Insensitive Joke About JonBenét Ramsey!

No one is perfect, not even Ariana Grande who is constantly serving up amazing new music. Over the weekend, Ari made a somewhat insensitive joke about JonBenet Ramsey and now she’s sincerely apologizing.
What’s up guys? It’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and if we know anything about Ariana Grande, we know that she loves dropping new songs and she’s SUPER close with her friends.
I’m sure you’ve seen her friends all over her Instagram stories, but three friends that are constantly around her and have been for years, are Alexa Luria, Courtney Chipolone, and Doug Middlebrook.
Over the weekend Doug posted a photo on Instagram of a tabloid news magazine that was reporting on the unsolved JonBenet Ramsey case with the caption, “No one has done more covers.”
And if you for some reason aren’t familiar with JonBenet Ramsey, she’s a 6-year-old beauty queen who was killed in 1996 and there are TONS of conspiracy theories about what happened.
Like if this is the first you are hearing of her, enjoy the dark rabbit hole you are about to go down on the internet trying to crack this case.
I’ve spent hours reading every possible theory.
But anyway, back to Ariana.
Ariana commented on Doug’s now deleted IG post saying quote, “i cant WAIT for this to be your halloween look,” to which Doug wrote back quote, “working on it already.”
And some fans weren’t cool with this joke, like at all.
They took screenshots of the post and comments and criticized Ariana for the comment on Twitter.
One person wrote quote, “Wait WHAT?? an 8-year-old girl who was violently killed, strangled and suffocated cannot be anyone's costume…”
Ok, so she was 6-years-old, but agreed, it is an extremely insensitive Halloween costume.
And another person wrote quote, “Girl idk what you were thinking but you need to check yourself and your friends.... this was low but I'm glad you see that your comment was out of pocket”
And that she did.
Ariana responded to the fan’s tweet saying quote, “yeah no i deleted it very quickly and understand that it’s not at all funny. this was out of pocket and i sincerely apologize.”
But aside from all this drama, I’m just excited we’re getting some new Ariana music.
She posted today on her Instagram this clip of her and the Social House guys and the video says “Boyfriend, August 2nd.”
She also posted a countdown to Boyfriend on her Instagram story.
Sooo it looks like we are getting some new music Friday Ariana-style this week and I can’t wait.
Also… I can’t help but wonder does this song mean she has a new boyfriend?
