Not long after Nicki Minaj publicly called out Travis Scott, Ariana Grande is letting it be known who’s side she’s on
Ariana Grande is on the press circuit for her newest album and during a Sweetener sesh at The Vic in Chicago, Ari’s manager, Scooter Braun, made a prediction that Sweetner would QUOTE “100 PERCENT” take the number one spot during it’s debut. And that’s when Ariana threw some major shade at Travis Scott

Yes, that was Ari respondin to Scooter’s prediction of her album debuting at no. 1 saying QUOTE “We got three days left. You don’t know what Travis could pull!”
Aaaaaaand obviously Ariana was alluding to Nicki Minaj’s claims about Travis Scott. Just last week, Nicki doubled down on her accusations against Kylie Jenner’s man, saying that the rapper had more than just a little bit of help grabbing the number 1 spot for his latest album, Astroworld. That came as a result of Travis holding on to the number 1 spot two weeks in a row, and beating Nicki’s album, Queen. Nicki even went as far to boldly claim that Travis used his girlfriend and their daughter, Stormi, to get the word out about his music, and that his merchandise + ticket bundles also helped skyrocket his album sales.
Which might not be the best argument, since Ari’s album also comes with limited edition merch. But of course Ari has Nicki’s back- they’re besties! The two are both featured on each other’s new albums, have collab’d multiple times in the past, and were sitting right next to each other at the VMA’s, shortly before Nicki had an awk run-in with Kylie Jenner outside Radio City Music Hall. Yikes.
