Nicki Minaj & Ariana Grande Named Time's 100 Most Influential

If not for their insane vocal and performing talents, Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande definitely have something to brag about. They just made TIME magazine’s list of top 100 influential people in the world and we could not be more excited.
How would you feel to be considered a top influencer in the world? IN THE WORLD?
TIME just released a full lineup of prominent pubic figures featuring our girls Nicki and Ariana, and a few others like Adele, Leonardo DiCaprio, Caitlyn Jenner, and Mark Zuckerberg. But seven of those high-profile individuals, including Nicki, were even lucky enough to land their own cover of the mag.
The list takes into account those who have inspired others, either positively or negatively. But the coolest part? Each person who made the cut, has a profile written about him or her by another notable figure.
For example, J-Law wrote a piece about Adele, and Lil Wayne wrote a tribute to Nicki. In his he said Nicki was an icon, a boss, and a role model to all the young girls of today and also mentioned, QUOTE: “Her work ethic spans volumes and has yielded these results.”
Umm…preach! Ariana’s piece was written by composer and play writer, Jason Robert Brown and talked about how she is known for calling out double standards for women and of course, her powerhouse voice. Speaking as if to Ari herself, he wrote QUOTE: “That voice-powered by nothing but your remarkable empathy, your ravenous intelligence, your cool discipline and your voracious ambition.”
I’d say Ari definitely owns that description down to a tee, am I right? Both the girls, Ari and Nicki are set to perform at this year’s TIME 100 gala, a celebration for all the influential people who made the cut.
