Cardi B Wins Best New Artist & Announces New Album SOON at iHeartRadio Music Awards 2018

Cardi B did not leave the iHeartRadio Music Awards empty handed. Cardi B took home the trophy for Best New Artist and you KNOW she took advantage of her big acceptance speech moment. Cardi graciously thanked her publicist, her record label, her family, her man, and her Bardi Gang fans. But then Cardi slapped us with some of her signature realness.
Cardi B is probably the only artist who would ever candidly thank her haters at an award show. Better get used to these speeches, because that unfiltered attitude is the key to Cardi’s success. That’s not all- right after the message for her haters, Cardi dropped a major reveal.
That’s how you make sure everyone is talking about your acceptance speech the next day. Cardi announced that her anticipated and much delayed debut album will FINALLY be coming in April. Sadly- no other details like a title or exact date were revealed. So stay tuned for that.
