We’ve got Miley, Katy, Chrissy and MORE doing some political finger dancing.
Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump went head-to-head last night on TV in the first of three planned Presidential debates. With one of the craziest elections this country has ever seen, celebs couldn’t help themselves and got in on the debate action via Twitter. Miley Cyrus tweeted a picture of her TV screen and showed her Democratic party support writing, “#trumpedup #imwithher #firstpresidentialdebate2016 #imf*****scared.” While Miley tweeted about her debate fear, many celebs took the comedic route. Funny lady Sarah Silverman tweeted a Dirty Dancing joke writing, “Baby has a lot of tantrums #DEBATES”. TV producer Shonda Rhimes brought us a little Beyonce while tweeting about Clinton, “Damn. She in FORMATION. #Debates2016”. Celebs even got in on the popular debate drinking game trend! Chrissy Teigen tweeted, “drinking game for tonight is to never stop”. Before the debate, proud Clinton supporter Katy Perry tweeted this cartoon of the candidates throwing mud at each other saying, “Ready for #mudslingmonday #YOUGOTTHISHRC”. Katy also live tweeted the event and her entire feed is definitely worth taking a look at- once you’re done watching this video of course! To balance out the comedic tweets many celebs were serious in capturing the tone of the debate. Sarah Hyland tweeted, “I still haven’t heard Trump actually answer a question. Only tantrums and lies. #Debates2016”. Zendaya also called out Trump by tweeting a tea emoji along with a link to an article exposing his lie about saying the Chinese created global warming as a hoax. And finally, the debate wasn’t complete without a couple imitators. Lena Dunham Instagrammed a photo of her wearing a Hillary Clinton mask, and Courtney Stodden tweeted this video of her in sexy Hillary attire. What was your favorite celeb reaction to the debate?
