Cole Sprouse Talks SCARY Riverdale Audition & Reads Creepy Poem

Last night Riverdale’s own Cole Sprouse sat down to chat with Late Night host Seth Meyers. Cole started by thanking Seth for finally having him on the show, and Seth apologized for telling his Riverdale costars he didn’t know who Cole Sprouse was. Once that was out of the way, Cole explained why his Riverdale audition was really scary for him.
Cole continued saying QUOTE, “When you start to see people mess with that really nostalgic property you love, it can be quite incendiary. So when I first read it I was a little bit weary.” Cole then revealed his turning point in the audition explaining QUOTE, “I read it like Rod Sterling, and I kinda knew from there it was gonna be a little stranger, a little weirder, a little more Twilight Zone and I figured ‘Ok, this could be fun.’”
Speaking of fun, Seth whipped out some hilarious tweets Cole has sent to his twin brother Dylan about their past as child stars. That’s when Seth had Cole read a tweet of a creepy poem Cole wrote for his mom when he was a little boy.
