Our favorite Jedi wins her first surfboard
You know I gotta say it – tonight the force was strong with Daisy Ridley at the TCA’s
In the cutest news you’ve heard all day, Daisy Ridley (who was nominated for two TCA’s including Choice Movie Actress in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy category) took home the Teen Choice surfboard for the for Choice Movie: Breakout Star for her epic acting skillz in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
And while she was honored to receive the award she couldn’t help but give some love to the other nominees
Her boy John, of course is freaking John Boyega who she co-starred with in Star Wars who is another favorite of ours. Daisy also beat out Gal Gadot from Batman v Superman, Brianna Hildebrand in Deadpool,Neel Sethi from The Jungle Book & Alexandra Ship from X-Men: Apocalypse
But one of our favorite parts of Daisy’s speech was when she thanked Disney and JJ Abrams for filling one of the most anticipated Star Wars films of all time with so much diversity
