Justin Timberlake receives the first ever Decade Award at the Teen Choice awards and gave us all some amazing words of wisdom to go with it!
JT brought more then just sexy back with his acceptance speech. He brought empowerment and just a dang good pep talk!
Justin’s good and slightly taller friend Kobe Bryant presented Justin with the first ever Decade Award. JT took the stage to a standing ovation and accepted his award with gratitude and humility in his adorable blue cardigan sweater which was giving him total dad vibes.. But aside from all that his acceptance speech was nothing short of motivating and inspirational.
He talked about being the positive change in the world and accepting everyone for who they are no matter where they come from. He talked about growing up in Tennessee as the son of two loving parents who taught him to love and embrace others. And because of that he said, well take a look..
He then went on to reiterate one of the greats, Muhammad Ali saying quote, “Be generous, be kind, be fair. It’s not just the right thing to do, it’s a good thing to do.”
And with so much division in the world right now he encourages us to, “Be apart of the solution and not apart of the problem, ending his speech with saying, “Go on and become the greatest generation yet.”
