Final Wave Of 2016 Teen Choice Award Nominees Announced - Includes Tyler Oakley, Smosh & MORE

With the 2016 Teen Choice Awards just weeks away, it’s about time the last and final wave of nominees come in.
The Teen Choice Awards finally released the last batch of nominees for this year’s show and a bunch of your favorite web stars are up for a super fancy TCA surfboard!
A TON of our fellow amazing web stars were announced as nominees in this year’s Teen Choice Awards and we could not be any more proud. Smosh, along with Ryan Higa, The Janoskians, Lilly Singh, GloZell Green, and Colleen Ballinger are all up for the Choice Web Star: Comedy award. Both Lilly Singh and Colleen Ballinger are also nominated for the Choice Web Star: Female award alongside Eva Gutowski, Gabbie Hanna, Jenn McAllister and Bethany Mota. And in the Choice Web Star: Male category the nominees are Cameron Dallas, Dolan Twins, Joey Graceffa, Hayes Grier, Nash Grier and Tyler Oakley.
The nominees for Choice Web Star: Music were also announced and they include Boyce Avenue, Chloe X Halle, Christina Grimmie, Cimorelli, Johnny Orlando, and MattyBRaps. Bethany Mota received another nomination at the award show for Choice Web Star: Fashion/Beauty and is up against Bunny Meyer, Kandee Johnson, Michelle Phan, Niki and Gabi, and Rachel Levin for the award. While a good majority of Internet stars garnered a lot of nominations in the Web category, a bunch of your favorite celebrities managed to snag themselves a few noms as well.
Justin Bieber received four nominations under the Web category and is in the running for Social Media King, Choice Twit, Choice Instagrammer and Choice Fandom. The Biebs is also up for Choice Selfie Taker under the Fashion umbrella against Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, and Ariana Grande. That one is definitely going to be a tough one to choose from!
And speaking of the Kardashians and Jenners, these famous sisters are also in the running for quite a few awards. Aside from being in the running for the Choice Selfie Taker award, Kimmy is also up for Choice Instagrammer and Social Media Queen – natch. Kylie nabbed herself two nominations, the Choice Selfie Taker and of course, Choice Snapchatter; while Kendall is nominated for Choice Model against besties Gigi Hadid and Hailey Baldwin. Chanel Iman, Ashley Graham, and Winnie Harlow are also up for the same award.
Aside from the web and fashion category, more awards were added to the growing Movie category. Some of the summer’s biggest blockbusters and highly anticipated films like ‘Finding Dory,’ ‘Central Intelligence,’ ‘Ghostbusters,’ ‘Independence Day: Resurgence,’ ‘Now You See Me 2,’ and ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ are battling it out for the Choice Summer Movie award. Even movies that haven’t been released yet were nominated for an award! Films up for the Choice AnTEENcipated Movie – side note: that’s anticipated with a teen – are ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,’ ‘Jason Bourne,’ ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,’ ‘Star Trek Beyond,’ ‘Suicide Squad,’ ‘Trolls.’ Other added categories included Choice Summer Movie Actor and Actress as well as Choice AnTEENcipated Movie Actor and Actress.
One last award was added to the Music category and that’s the Choice Music: International Artist award. EXO, Girls’ Generation, J Balvin, Little Mix, Super Junior, and Zara Larsson were all nominated for this one. You can find a full list of all the nominees at Teen-Choice-Dot-Com.
