Have you ever dreamt about Demi Lovato and James Corden presenting you with your own personal singing telegram? Me either but three lucky people got just that when Demi and James went on a happiness spreading adventure.
What could be better than having an international superstar bombard you at your office, sing you a telegram, and then shave your head? It’s something you just have to see to believe.
In a segment on the Late Late Show last night, James Corden and Demi Lovato went around LA surprising people who had just accomplished something big in their lives with balloons and personalized songs. The first lucky telegram recipient was a woman who’d just received a job promotion at a dry bar. And needless to say the looks on everyone’s faces when Demi and James walked in was priceless. Demi and James then surprised a guy at work for his 25th birthday with a jingle about mayonnaise because that’s his favorite spread! Who wouldn’t want a birthday song personalized for them with the addition of their favorite sandwich condiments?
But the ultimate telegram was for a dentist who’d just raised 6,000 dollars for the YMCA. He’d told people that if he reached his 10,000 dollar mark in donations that he would shave his head. So of course Demi and James couldn’t pass up the opportunity and took full advantage of the situation.
I mean if you’re going to have your head shaved, it might as well be by Demi Lovato. Oh and side note, Demi and James also played Marry, Shag, Cruise for which Demi gave James Beyonce, Rihanna, and Nicki Minaj as options for who’d he want to either marry, shag, or go on a cruise with and James picked Beyonce to marry and then admitted that he’d take Nicki on the cruise only because he doesn’t think his “anaconda” is packin’ enough to impress her compared to what she’s used to. I can’t.
