Yesterday on Ellen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson stood in as host of a play game show called Finish the Lyric while Ellen and James stepped up to the plank as contestants. The concept of the game was pretty self explanatory. Part of a song was played whoever buzzed first, had to finish the lyric. Answer correctly and a point was awarded. Of course with James being the king of karaoke and Ellen being a music junkie with enviable dance skills, you knew it was going to be a showdown. Check it out:
The competition was stiff and although James and Ellen both fumbled on the lyrics to Hotline Bling, in the end it was a tie. Ellen showed off her memorization skills by finishing the lyrics to Chance the Rappers “No Problem” and Rihanna’s “B*tch Better Have My Money” while James caught up with T-Swift’s Bad Blood and Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean.” James will be hosting the Grammys this Sunday on CBS and no doubt it’s going to be epic. Anyone else down for some live carpool karaoke’s? Yes please.
