Who knew that acting as becoming backstage security, a backup dancer, and even a personal masseuse to the stars are typical ‘general manager’ job descriptions? Well, they were James Corden who took over The Forum’s managerial duties during KIIS FM’s Jingleball last weekend.
The late night host went above and beyond, making the rounds backstage in each of the artist’s dressing rooms to check if they needed anything and had enough security, and when it seemed as though a staff member was lacking in a specific area of work, James called upon himself to get the place in check… like being Ed Sheeran’s personal security, for example:
James then visited Niall Horan, whom he gave a luxury massage to, he perfected his handshake with Demi Lovato, put Sam Smith on vocal rest and made sure Liam Payne’s TV was perfectly in tact just seconds before the two cuddled up on the couch together…
But the moment James got a phone call from Taylor Swift’s people stating that she was down a backup dancer was when his GM skills were really put to the test. James was quick to arrive to the scene, and boy did he play the part, fishnet crop top and all…
It’s the thought that counts, right? All in all, James seemed to have the right outlook on this whole general manager stint, which, in his words, is basically just going around speaking to famous people… If that’s the case, then sign me up for that job!
But right now I gotta know all your thoughts on James’ night at The Forum and if you think he should trade in his carpool car keys for a shiny new badge, so get to talking down here in the comments, and as always be sure to subscribe. Thanks for hanging with me here on Clevver News, I’m your host Naz Perez and have a great weekend.
