Demi Lovato SLAYS "Too Good At Goodbyes" Cover & Sam Smith Reacts

That’s right, you guys! It turns out Demi Lovato is just as OBSESSED with Sam Smith as we are because she just KILLED a cover of “Too Good at Goodbyes.”
While we were DYING over how perfect and angelic her cover was, D-Lo was busy complimenting Sam, and she just couldn’t say enough great things about him! Before covering the song, D-Lo told BBC Radio 1, “[Smith] is such a sweetheart… I’m dying to collaborate with him.” OMG… please? That would be MAGIC!
Demi even received praise from Sam himself, who took to Twitter immediately after he saw Demi’s performance to say, QUOTE, “YES @ddlovato SAAAAAAANG IT.” Demi was quick to respond with, QUOTE, “LOVE YOU And I LOVE your new music!!”
That wasn’t the end of the Demi/Sam love fest, though! Sam tweeted Demi back AGAIN saying, QUOTE, “Ditto!! ‘Only Forever’ has me deeply into my feelings xx congratulations beautiful xx” OMG guys, we are LOVING the love and support between these two!
This isn’t the first time Demi’s done a heartfelt cover of a hit song on BCC Radio 1. In fact, just two years ago Demi appeared on the show to perform a cover of Hozier’s “Take Me To Church,” which was equally as chilling. But, not gonna lie… we really need this Demi and Sam collab to happen STAT. Don’t you?
Demi also stunned us with performances of two of her own songs as well—an acoustic performance of “Sorry Not Sorry,” and an emotional throwback to 2011’s “Skyscraper.”
Yupp… she truly put us all up in our feels.
