DJ Khaled performs his hit “Do You Mind” with Nicki Minaj and other stars at the 2016 AMAs.
Nicki Minaj, August Alsina, Future AND Rick Ross all joined DJ Khaled for an epic star-studded performance of “Do You Mind” at the AMAs.
DJ Khaled got the entire audience pumped and up on their feet while Nicki took to the stage and rapped the song’s intro wearing a sexy black ensemble.
Nicki was followed by August Alsina, who sings a verse of the rap ballad alongside Chris Brown. Though Chris was not in attendance for the performance himself, his backing vocals were very much present throughout the song.
Considering Chris sings the bulk of the chorus, it’s probably a good thing that they kept his vocals in there. And the cameos didn’t stop at August--DJ Khaled also introduced Future to the stage to rap his portion of the song, followed by Rick Ross.
As for himself, DJ Khaled spent his stage time playing hype man to all the featured artists, as well as commanding the entire audience to get up on their feet and put their hands in the air--to which they gladly obliged.
