Ari’s fans are making sure she knows she’s got their full support across social media right now, and other fandoms are following suit…
In the wake of the terrorist attack at Ari’s concert, Ari’s fans, also known as Arianators, are flooding to social media to share their support for the singer, who is reported to be devastated by the tragic event that took place just moments after she’d finished her show in Manchester. Not only did they get the hashtag “# Its Not Your Fault Ari” trending
A touching video clip of fans singing along to Ari’s “One Last Time” also went viral in the aftermath of the attack...
“One Last Time” has been used to pay tribute to the victims of the attack, with many radio stations all over the UK playing it after having a minute of silence. In light of this, Arianators came together to help get the song to the top of the charts.
YouTube took note of the song being used as tribute and put an add in front of “One Last Time” that reads QUOTE, “Our thoughts are with the victims and families of all those affected by the Manchester attack”.
And it’s not just Arianators who are paying tribute to the victims and showing love and support for Ariana--fandoms all over, from the Beliebers to Selenators to Lovatics have been sharing and retweeting images such as a graphic that depicts two hands clasping one another, with the names of all the major fandoms beside them in a show of solidarity between all the fans of various pop artists at this time.
Another symbol being passed around social media is a pink and black photoshopped image of the bunny ears Ari wears on top of the ribbon “awareness” symbol. The photo is being shared as a symbol of support, and has been posted by everyone from fans to celebrities such as Hailee Steinfeld. It is so refreshing to see young people coming together and sharing their love and support for all those affected by the Manchester attack as one big community--afterall, that’s what these fan armies are all about.
