The rumormill has been FULL of rumors about Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui after she was seen kissing another girl in a photo online. In response to the gossip, Lauren has taken matters into her own hands by penning a passionate letter to Donald Trump supporters where she takes the opportunity to publicly come out as bisexual.
In the letter posted on Billboard.com, Lauren reveals QUOTE, “I am a bisexual Cuban-American woman and I am so proud of it… I am proud to be the granddaughter and daughter of immigrants who were brave enough to leave their homes and come to a whole new world…”
Lauren goes on to call Trump supporter arguments “worthless” and blame them for destroying our nation’s social progress. “You have, with your pure ignorance and refusal to understand the way the government and the world works, allowed a power-hungry business tycoon to take over the United States of America.” At one point Lauren compares Trump to Nazi leader Adolf Hitler writing, “...he spoke to the parts of you that think you are superior to the rest of us (just like Hitler did in Germany before the Holocaust!”
Turning the topic to equality Lauren expresses how proud she is to be a woman writing, “[I am] proud that the sex between my thighs provides a strength and resilience in me that only other women can feel, that my body curves in ways that allow me to create life within me.” Lauren ends by urging Trump supporters to open their minds to acceptance and equality in favor of a country that judges people based on skin color and gender.
The 5H gal tweeted to fans following the release of the letter, “Overwhelmed by love, thank you guys”.
