During a performance with Little Mix on Wednesday, Perrie Edwards broke down in tears. The band was singing “The End” when Perrie seemed to become overwhelmed with emotion and couldn’t continue with the song.
Perrie is going through a really hard time right now. As most you may know, Zayn allegedly broke up with Perrie a couple of weeks ago, and Perrie’s been putting on a brave face while the band’s been doing promotion for their music. But, Perrie’s human, and her tears show that she’s having a tough time with the split, just like anyone else would.
It seems like Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui heard about what happened to Perrie, and she tweeted a really supportive message. Lauren tweet says “And take a moment for the girl with the broken heart. May she feel her pain, wake up one day, and realize it's faded away. And she remains❤”
Perrie isn't mentioned by name in Lauren’s tweet, but fans are assuming that the message is for Perrie, which is totally sweet.
It's nice to see these ladies, who are often pitted against each other because they are in two different girl groups, support each other. There's clearly no rivalry here, just love and support, which is such a great message to send to their young fans.
