Lauren Jauregui bares it all in a sheer dress in a new photo shoot with her rumored ex girlfriend, Lucy Vives.
Lauren is looking hotter than ever in her latest photo shoot that’s more than just a series of pretty pics.
The shoot took place in New Orleans late last year, and features Lauren and her rumored on-and-off girlfriend in a series of stunning pics entitled “Bare With Me”. And if you’re wondering why it’s called that, one look at Lauren posing in a gorgeous sheer black dress will answer your question...
Two words: Damn, girl! Lauren, the photographer, and their stylist all posted snaps from the shoot to Instagram, including some incredibly intimate ones of Lauren and Lucy Vives, who Lauren has known for years and has been romantically linked to in the past ever since she came out as bisexual last year.
And the intimate snaps are not just meant to be beautiful--there’s a lot of meaning behind them. The photographer, Nicole Cartolano, explained of the series QUOTE, “Both girls trusted me to photograph them together as sort of a coming-out, but they were nervous how their families would respond and the publicity they’d attract...‘Bare With Me’ is a compromise which allowed us to describe what Lauren called ‘love in the 21st century.’ We felt like the way that these photographs are presented are very disarming, sensual, and empowering all at once. And they’re not provocative or with ill intent... It was important to use their voices to show the world that this is OK, this is acceptable, in the gentlest way possible.”
I’d say they completely nailed it, and kudos to Lauren and Lucy for expressing themselves in such and open and vulnerable way. But what do you guys think?
