Lauren Jauregui Opens Up About How Coming Out Changed Her Life

Lauren recently spoke out saying that coming out as bisexual last year truly had a positive impact on her and inspired many of her fans.
People always say the truth will set you free and 9 times out of 10 it’s true!
Last year in the midst of some heightened political turmoil and scrutiny of marginalized groups, Lauren wrote an essay in which she came out as bisexual. Sense then Lauren says that being transparent about her truth has had such a positive effect on her as well as her fans. In a recent interview with The Sun she spoke about the journey saying QUOTE -“It’s hard to accept yourself when you live in a world where nobody is like you. Or you feel like nobody is like you because there’s no representation. For me, coming into my own and being comfortable with myself really changed me as a person. And made me more confident and vibrant.”
She went on to explain that her bravery and courage has also had an impact on her fans saying QUOTE - “A bunch of my fans have come up to me and said, ‘because of you and because you came out, I have finally begun to accept myself.’ That is infinitely incredible for me. I didn’t expect to get to the point where I would own up to it within myself.” What a good way to bring in the weekend. With some self acceptance and inspiration.
