Jim Parsons Wins Big Again at Emmys 2014

Funnyman, Jim Parsons takes home an Emmy for his comedic artistry in the Big Bang Theory. You’re watching Clevver’s Trophy Life because award show stuff is happenin ya’ll. We’re bringing you all the highlights from the Emmys!

Jim took home Lead Actor in a Comedy Series beating out Louis C.K., Don Cheadle, Ricky Gervais, Matt LeBLANC, and William H. Macy. This was Jim’s fourth Emmy win and seventh nomination. Holy successful. And can I just say, Jim is so adorably awkward that I just want to keep him in my pocket. Love this guy.

Jim humbly started out his speech by basically saying that he wished he could do half of the things his fellow nominees can do, acknowledging the fact that many of the actors in his category act in a number of different genres. He went on to thank Warner Brothers, his fans, and than gave a touching shout out to his late father. He acknowledged that even though his father was not present, he knows he was able to see his success in his own way. So sweet and so moving. When people win numerous awards like this, seeing that Jim has won four thus far, I always wonder where they put the trophies in their homes? That must be one decked out fireplace mantle.
