Holy lip lock. Julia Louis-Dreyfus takes home Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy at the 2014 Emmy’s for her hilarity in HBO’s Veep and gets her face eaten by Bryan Cranston. Welcome to Clevver’s Trophy Life where we are bringing you all of the highlights from television’s biggest night. Julia had some stiff competition beating out Lena Dunham, Edie Falco, Melissa flippin McCarthy, Amy Poehler, and Taylor Schilling, but the best part of her winning moment had to be when Bryan Cranston sneak attack smooched her as she made her way to the big stage.
This stemmed from an earlier joke where Julia insinuated that she didn’t remember Bryan being on Seinfeld. They of course were tv sweethearts so they had to rekindle their fictional love – am I right. YOLO. I guess they just said go big or go home. Julia joked in her speech saying, “Yeah yeah he was on Seinfeld” as Cranston caressed his lips in the audience. Julia went on to thank HBO, the Veep family including the crew, producers, director, and cast. Julia is never one to disappoint and could make grumpy cat laugh. She has been in the comedy game for years and is showing no signs of slowing down. So what did you guys think about that lip lock?
