Julia is no stranger to getting awards so acceptance speeches can get boring after a while but this time she shook things up a bit by poking fun at Donald Trump
The Emmy Awards kicked off with a bang as Julia Louis-Dreyfus took home the Emmy for lead actress in a comedy series for her performance in Veep sunday night.
This is the comedian queens fourth time in a row that she has been crowned lead actress and her 6th emmy to date.
She kicked off her acceptance speech in what she called the political way by saying this
Yikes dig, but if you dish it you should be able to take it.
Julia beat out other frequent nominees like Amy Poehler from Parks and Recreation as well as Amy Schumer from Inside Amy Schumer.
but she gave a special shout out to the other nominees by saying
"I love powerful, funny women. I love you gals so much"
