Frances McDormand Wins Best Actress & Asks ALL Female Nominees To Stand At 2018 Oscars

That was the legendary Francis McDormand taking home the trophy for best actress at tonight’s Academy Awards!
For the 2nd time Francis McDormand swept up a golden statue – this time for her work in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri.
The Oscar win didn’t come as too much of a surprise to anyone that’s been following awards show season considering the actress has swept the category. And as exciting as an Oscar win is for anyone, it’s Francis’ acceptance speech that really has people talking. After thanking several people, the actress said this:
After this big moment, Francis encouraged everyone in the room to reach out to these amazing women later this week to talk to them about their various projects. Then, in a twist that has the twitterverse stirring, Francis ended her speech with this:
Immediately twitter was abuzz with people searching what exactly an inclusion rider is and the answer is still up for grabs. One thing no ones confused by is just how fantastic Francis’ speech was – in fact, Oscar host Jimmy Kimmel had it right when he suggested she be nominted for an Emmy for her speech at the Oscars.
