Justin Bieber just defended Kanye West over his recent controversial statements, and not gonna lie… we’re all left scratching our heads.
This episode is brought to you by Secret Active. New Secret Active provides protection in the moments when it matters most.
OMG… what is going on, you guys?!
In case you missed it, Kanye West has come under fire recently for some VERY controversial comments, including outwardly expressing his support for President Donald Trump, and also saying that he believes that slavery was— wait for it— a choice.
That’s right, folks. In a recent TMZ Live interview, Kanye said, QUOTE, “When you hear about slavery for 400 years… for 400 years? That sounds like a choice.” Uhh… WHAT?!
Understandably, several of Kanye’s famous friends are not happy with the rapper, and some of them have even reached out to Kanye directly to express their disapproval.
After Kanye posted a photo wearing a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat, his good friend John Legend sent him a text that said, QUOTE, “I hope you’ll reconsider aligning yourself with Trump. You’re way too powerful and influential to endorse who he is and what he stands for.”
Several other celebrities are also unhappy with Kanye’s recent remarks, with many unfollowing him on Twitter altogether, like Drake, Rihanna, Harry Styles and The Weeknd… just to name a few.
Shockingly enough, though, there have been some other celebs that have come to Kanye’s defense, like Chance the Rapper, and yes, JUSTIN BIEBER.
Just yesterday, Justin took to his Instagram story to send Kanye some love, writing, QUOTE, “Our job is to love not to always agree! Love you Kanye!” Although he didn’t necessarily say he agrees with Kanye’s statements, his defense of the rapper sent Twitter into a frenzy with the trending hashtag #JustinBieberisoverparty. Yikes!
