Justin Bieber is being sued for assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Needless to say he’s not having the best Friday.
But before we dive in, I want to point out that all of these accusations are alleged – meaning they could be true but they could very well also be completely false because this wouldn’t be the first time a celebrity has been accused and sued for something they didn’t do.
The accusations are coming from the owner of the house of the egging incident last year – which actually DID happen. You’ll remember that the incident was caught on video and clearly the homeowner has not put it behind him. Jeffrey Schwartz is his name along with his wife, Suzanne who are now suing Justin for assault, battery, and various other civil offenses that they claim they endured as Justin’s former neighbors in the months preceding the egging incident.
The lawsuit, filed this morning in LA Superior Court, has been obtained by E! News from which we have learned the various allegations in detail.
--One of the accusations is that Schwartz would hear Justin whizzing by in his Ferrari early in the morning and that when Schwartz asked Justin QUOTE – “calmly and politely” to not speed in the neighborhood out of compassion for the safety of children playing in the streets, Schwartz claims that Justin responded by motioning for his bodyguards to ask Schwartz to leave. Then as he was leaving, Justin QUOTE - "launched into an unprovoked tirade, in a “threatening manner.” Allegedly, Justin repetitively screamed slanders at Schwartz threatening to F-ing kill and kick his ass. AND THEN SPIT in his face.
Then a couple months later Schwartz says Justin’s entourage screamed foul obscenities at his wife Suzanne and their minor daughter while they were passing them near the main gate of the neighborhood.
And the allegations don’t stop there. The lawsuit also claims that Justin’s bodyguards confronted Schwartz AND a friend when they walked over to Biebs house to complain about his speeding again… As the bodyguards allegedly starting taunting them and called Schwartz a QUOTE - “little Jew boy.”
Messy, messy, messy. All of these accusations and a bag of chips add up to the charges, claiming assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligent infliction of emotional distress, and trespass.
The couple is seeking unspecified damages, basically meaning that they’re probably going to try and sue the Bieb’s for all he’s worth.
